Objectives

1. To gain first hand knowledge of an Aboriginal community controlled organization.
2. To gain an understanding of the determinates of indigenous health and ill health
3. To gain an understanding of the common health and developmental problems, of Victorian indigenous children.

Resources and learning opportunities

1. A Resource list including reading material, web sites and a Victorian directory will be provided.
2. Participate in clinic activities including, consultations with a paediatrican, at the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service.
3. Other on-site visits to Indigenous organizations can be arranged
