Graduate Diploma/Certificate in Adolescent Health and Welfare

This course is offered by the Centre for Adolescent Health through the Department of Paediatrics and is designed to meet the professional development needs, goals and interests of participants who work with young people in different disciplines and community service settings. Masters and Graduate Diploma in Genetic Counselling

This course is part one of a two part process to become a certified genetic counsellor. Genetic counsellors work in a team, providing information about genetic conditions, to enable people to make informed decisions. A clear understanding of genetic information, skilled communication and listening, awareness of the factors in decision-making and self-awareness are part of this process. Master of Medicine (Paediatrics)

The Master of Medicine course aims to help doctors develop expertise in child and adolescent health which they can apply in their own country after graduation. The program combines an academic and clinical teaching program with supervised clinical placements and an opportunity to conduct research in an area of child or adolescent health. Masters of Youth Health and Education Management

This course is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, aimed at practitioners working with young people in the education, health and community services sector. Read detailed course information from the Faculty of Education.

Child Public Health elective

The Child Public Health elective introduces students to aspects and influences on child and adolescent public health. This subject is offered by the department of Paediatrics and coordinated by the Centre for Community Child Health at the Royal Children’s Hospital. The elective can be undertaken by students from a wide array of tertiary postgraduate programs, including the Victorian Consortium Master of Public Health.
