Research Higher DegreesDoctor of PhilosophyTogether with the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute, we have a large and diverse program incorporating laboratory, clinical and public health research. The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is administered through the Melbourne School of Graduate Research. Doctor of Medical ScienceThis research degree is for candidates who have an MBBS degree (or equivalent). Master of MedicineThe Master of Medicine (MMed) is usually done over two years as a coursework degree, but a one or two year MMed by Research can also be arranged for eligible candidates.
